GSTN receiving whopping 10,000 calls per day; GST Helpline helps address concerns

You would be shocked to realize that the GST Network (GSTN) has been getting a normal of 10,000 calls for every day from dealers and citizens to clear their disarray and enable them to adjust to the new duty administration. 

"Our call focus administrators are noting all questions and helping all to get used to GST. This call focus is working from Noida and group of around 400 administrators is dealing with those calls," GSTN Chairman Navin Kumar told ANI.

After the rollout of the GST on July 1, the GSTN has assumed control from the Ministry of Finance.

Navin Kumar on Registration:

"If the tax authorities don't have any queries against the application, their registration is deemed to be approved within three days," said Kumar. 

On GSP front:

"Once they clear the parameters set by the GSTN, they will be granted a licence as there is a huge requirement to increase the number of GSPs," said Kumar.
