We have an urgent requirement of Direct Taxation with Airtel Gurgaon . Please find below details:

Purpose of the Job:

Summarize in one statement why your job exists; and how it contributes to the overall mission/objective of the organization.

To monitor / review accounting of Direct Taxation and reporting it to Airtel management in India on monthly/ quarterly basis. To ensure compliance to the IFRS, Ind AS, Local GAAP wherever applicable. To ensure compliance to Group accounting policies/ process and close co-ordination with African subsidiaries.

Deliverables:

1. Ensuring accurate and correct accounting of Direct taxation (includes current tax and deferred tax) across various subsidiaries of Airtel in Africa. This includes IFRS as well as local GAAP wherever applicable.

2. ETR Reconciliation and various Tax schedules review (DTR)
3. Release of accounting guidelines and process related to tax accounting.
4. Monthly management reporting of Africa tax.
5. PPR based Tax matters accounting according to IFRS.
6. Close co-ordination with Subsidiaries and Tax technical team.
7. Compliance to Accounting Bulletins / central processes.
