Position description
The Analyst Solutions Team (AST) is a global team within the Research department that is dedicated to helping analyst teams with financial modeling and analysis and with ModelWare, a proprietary analytic framework and robust valuation database.

The objectives of the team are
1.To uphold and improve the quality of Research models and the integrity of ModelWare data,
2.To provide aid to sector teams in accounting & valuation issues,
3.To promote best practices in financial modeling.
4.To help make analysts' experience with ModelWare constructive and efficient,
5.To facilitate analysts' ability to leverage the ModelWare platform to create investment analysis content.

Responsibilities: Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
*Answering modeling and accounting questions from teams
*Providing one-on-one modeling training
*Helping the teams in forecasting drivers & reflecting their investment thesis.
*Modeling merger and acquisitions, stock splits etc
*Integrating models to facilitate quicker/easier validation
*forecasting pensions, leases, options etc
*Helping associates to leverage ModelWare
*Working closely with global team members
*Reviewing models from analyst teams
*Share modeling best practices within Research

Qualifications: CA

Timing- Fixed shift 3pm to 12am.

Skills- The candidate should have coursework in both accounting and finance. The candidate should have a strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, excellent problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills and be work organized. A familiarity with financial statements modeling is required. Experience working with remote teammates a plus.
