Job Description
Leading a team of Credit Analysts towards achievement of budgets across various parameters (detailed separately under ‘Key budgeted responsibilities’).
Ensuring that proposal notes put up are of necessary quality and in line with the proposal format, Corporate Credit Policy, RBI/ other regulatory guidelines.
Having thorough knowledge of product features and quickly assessing the product fitment based on borrower requirement and eligibility as per product norms.
Conduct discussion with the borrowers, RMs to access any additional information and to ensure creditworthiness of the proposal.
Communicating sanction terms to the borrower (related to commercials, charges, post-disbursement covenants if any) clearly and without any ambiguity.
As a part of sanctioning committee, ensuring growth of business without compromising the quality of the portfolio.
Conduct unit visit and collateral inspections in order to satisfy overall integrity of the unit and to ensure credit quality of the proposal.
Negotiating terms of sanction with customer in coordination with Sales/ Relationship Manager.
Maintenance of Turnaround Time (TAT) for various tasks i.e. appraisal notes, renewals, review notes etc.
Review/renewal of all accounts at the frequency specified and ensure to complete the review/renewal exercise before due date.
Leading discussion with Risk department officials for resolving their observations through discussions and replies resulting in an early credit decision.
Responding to the observations raised by Audit/Compliance department with regard to the existing portfolio of accounts handled.
Co-ordination with the credit delivery team for timely grounding of sanctions granted.
Continuous monitoring of the accounts in the portfolio in order to detect Early Warning Signals (EWS) & follow-up with RMs/customers for improvement in EWS rating.
Conducting detailed discussions with borrowers appearing stressed and having a clear action plan for improvement in position by considering various available options.
Ensuring NIL pending security creation in portfolio.
Ensuring timely submission of Control Returns in frequencies defined by policy.
Resolving customer complaints effectively and quickly.
