Job Summary

* Regional Sales Manager - Commercial Lending, Mid Corporates

Job Purpose

As part of the Mid Corporates business, Commercial Lending vertical at Bajaj Finance Limited, this position will be responsible for revenue goals and building a profitable Loan book from the Light Engineering, Specialty Chemicals and Pharma Intermediates segment of customers. The person should drive his/her team to add new customers and build a quality loan book. The person should have prior experience in the Commercial Lending / Business Lending.

 

Job Duties & Key Responsibilities

* Duties and Responsibilities - • Will be responsible initially for building loan portfolio in the Light Engineering, Specialty Chemicals and Pharma Intermediates Segments. He/she shall inspire and drive high performance in individuals and within the team. He/she shall report into the Business Head. • Responsible of the region’s Loan book, P&L and delivery of Annual Operating Plan, across all relevant matrices of ROI, ROE & Quality of Portfolio. • Collaborate and engage with compliance and legal, Operations, Underwriting/Risk functions to ensure a compliant and robust portfolio. • Will be responsible for revenue delivery on (fee and Interest Income) through focused efforts around a) New Client Acquisition numbers, volume and profitability, b) Existing Customers Wallet Penetration and c) Competency Metrics. • Will be expected to actively participate and contribute towards existing portfolio management, new client on boarding, market feedback, market scoping. • Collaborate closely with other product teams like Insurance services to cross sell insurance and other similar products to customers.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

* v Years of Experience: 6-8 years of experience. Preference will be given to Business Development / Sales / Relationship professionals from the Business Lending, SME, Channel Finance, Commercial Banking teams of Pvt Sector Banks or MNC Banks or NBFCs who are focussed on Asset products. v Qualification / Specialization: Chartered Accountant or Master’s in Finance/Business Administration. v Expertise / Skills: The candidate should be skilled at developing & deepening client relationships. He/she should possess proven client relationship skills, understanding of typical business flows, product knowledge, strong execution and multi-tasking skills. The candidate must have demonstrated ability to consistently deliver against planned targets.
