Job Purpose

Our Transaction Services team focuses on adding value to our Financial Services clients at all stages of the transaction lifecycle, from pre-transaction analysis. We offer an array of services including establishment of initial bid price, background due diligence on potential partners and the market in which the target operates, financial and tax due diligence, complemented with our other due diligence services, as well as negotiation support to impact the final decision. We ensure seamless support to our client by working on the transaction as a coherent team.


As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for production of quality deliverables (including Excel and Powerpoint documents) within agreed timescales under the supervision of the reporting manager. You will get the opportunity to work with intellectually stimulating clients in a dynamic work environment.


Key Role


• Complete assigned work on time, and according to specifications and quality standards


• Recognize the appropriate analytical techniques for the data set and problem at-hand


• Interpret information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available information on the target business to identify financial red flags and areas for further diligence


• Contribute to the creation of analytical models and effectively utilize visualization technologies to help team present sophisticated analyses and information in a logical manner


• Ask clarifying questions to engagement management to reduce ambiguity


• Build a working list of people, references, and tools needed to get work done


• Report Writing


• Assist with the preparation of financial analysis schedulesJob Requirements


Education & Training (Degree, training or certification required)


• CA qualified or equivalent qualification/experience


• Strong academic track record


• Analytical Abilities


• Good communication/ Report Writing skills


• High level of expertise in excel and Powerpoint


Experience


• 0-2 plus years of relevant work experience
