Update : 21st GST Council Meeting to held on 9th Sept at Hyderabad

The next GST Council meeting will be held here on September 9, a senior official in Telangana government said today.

This will be the third meeting of the council since the launch of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on July 1 and the 21st since it was set up in September last year. 20 lakh,” the official said

GST EXPLAINED view : This meeting shall be the first meeting after the returns compliance has initiated under GST. It is worthwhile to note that GST portal and Govt has already sent the India Inc in a tizzy over the last few weeks be it late availability of return formats, offline utility etc. while keeping their hopes afloat by extending deadlines. The new regime is bound to be affected by obstacles but Govt should take active steps in resolving the issues.
