About the Role



Payment Consulting has a very vital role of providing new and existing merchants with payment processing network support on behalf of GMS. While working closely with global teams to bring global capabilities to market, the team is also responsible for collaborating with partners to deploy local solutions that are unique to conditions and opportunities in India. Role require working closely with MTS ( Merchant Technical Servicing) , Acquisition and servicing team to identify issues impacting customer experience at POS and addressing those through on-going engagement with respective stakeholders. This role requires seamless partner engagement and supporting on-going operational activities with multiple processors being managed by the team. Liaising with multiple teams within GMS viz Client Management, Servicing and Acquisition teams to identify merchant issues, real time field issues, servicing and coverage gaps . The person will also be responsible for executing other specific AMEX projects that would be assigned during the tenure which would involve close co-ordination with American Express partners, processors and merchants.

Experience

• The person should have a great combination of consultative selling, relationship, language skills (English) and project management skills as well as a good appreciation for payment technology and network infrastructure.


• The person should be able to supervise & deliver on all ongoing payment activities related to Partner’s portfolio being managed by PCG.


• The main objective for this person is to analyze and lead process improvements by working with various operations teams and help business growth.


• Responsible for interpreting performance data and translate the same in to practical improvement.


• Reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.


• The role requires strong analytical and strategic skills.


• The person will also be providing support to the Payments Consulting BAU activities.

• Strong aptitude in technical consultancy for the payments industry
