We are currently building our research team in India by bringing on board high quality team members, and seek an Analyst for the Life Sciences practice to be based in our Gurgaon office.

 

Position Summary

As part of the Life Sciences and/or Healthcare practice, the Analyst will anchor and project manage C-Suite executive search mandates working with Consultants, Associates/Senior Associates and Executive Assistants. He/she will showcase comprehensive and assessment skills in addition to leveraging strong industry and business understanding, written and oral communication skills. The Analyst is expected to work proactively and efficiently on multiple client engagements through the combination of solid project management skills, demonstrate initiative and quality search execution, ownership mentality and strong, team-oriented delivery to meet specific client needs.

S/he will also participate in Intellectual Capital projects/Round tables and organizing activities that the firm engages in regularly, across industry sectors.

Successful candidates for the Analyst position will have project management abilities, results orientation, rigorous attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and enjoy the challenging of working internally with a variety of Consultants, and externally with diverse, senior-level executives and board members. The Analyst will be expected to acquire deep and insightful candidate pool knowledge over time which would be related to a specific industry, function or geography and build deep professional relationships with senior executives in the sector. The individual will also be responsible for developing new insights and publishing intellectual capital for the relevant sector or function, positioning Spencer Stuart as the most knowledgeable firm in that sector or function.

What will you bring to this role to be successful?

• Excellent academic results, preferably a post-graduate degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or Biotechnology from a Tier 1 institute.


• A minimum of 2 to 3 years prior experience in a professional business environment.


• Fluency in English (written and spoken).


• Ability and comfort to speak with senior level executives with professional and ensure confidentiality.


• An ability to research, analyze, structure, and present information clearly.


• Results oriented with rigorous attention to detail and intellectual curiosity to strive for the solution.


• Ability to manage multiple projects, often against competing timelines.


• A strong preference to work in a team based environment, on a variety of assignments, where 'we' work together to serve our clients.
