FINANCE ANALYST/CLIENT FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

We seek a financial professional for a Finance Analyst/Client Financial Management role in our Pune, India office. This entry-level position provides new or recent graduates with an excellent foundation in financial management within a multi-office business environment. As a Client Financial Management Analyst you will be an instrumental part of the Client Financial Management team supporting our projects and client teams, providing a full range of financial management support from proposal stage and planning through final delivery to our clients. You will be an instrumental part of our team working closely with delivery teams and Client Principals.
Responsibilities:

• Work alongside Client Financial Management team leads to support Principals and project management teams;


• Engage with project teams, colleagues and clients to identify and resolve any client or project financial issues;


• Support large “in-flight” client projects. Provide work plan reconciliation reporting, trend analysis, compliance tracking, financial status and forecasts.


• Engage effectively with resources at all levels within ZS and at our clients, as appropriate


• Manage revenue recognition, completion estimates, write-offs and margins


• Ensure project financial transactions (billing, collection, time & expenses) are completed in a timely and accurate manner


• Assist with engagement startup (pricing, project setup) and shutdown activities (prepare final bill to client, close project codes etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business required, advanced degree welcome, with a strong record of academic achievement;


• Up to 2 years of financial management experience;


• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), SAP experience desirable;


• Strong analytic and critical thinking abilities;


• Effective oral and written communication skills that enable strong relationship-building and stakeholder management;


• Strong attention to detail;


• Motivated and proactive;


• Professional objectivity and judgment to know when to challenge activities;


• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, rapidly-changing environment.

ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
